Powered by Percy Dean's brilliant photography, Joe Connor, on a shoestring budget, travels to Scotland for this beautiful promo to Sycamore by UK four-piece The Mariner's Children.

"First off this bad boy was a self-funded, self-produced promo to the tune of petrol and a packet of jelly babies for the ride. Shot in the beautiful Isle of Arran by Percy Dean (who gives some truly insane photography on this one) the video feature Marc Brady, a good friend and model for the Kooples, styled by The House of Nines, again good friends – and they let me trash a shirt and trouser combo in the bracing North Irish Sea – and graded by the wonderful guys at MPC who have looked after me insanely over the past few years.

"This was a labour of love, a video made for a mate's band for no reason other then to put images to their wicked music and with no agenda other then to get out into the wild with a camera, a nugget of a story and just see what happened.  All shot on just two old Zeiss lenses stashes in the back pocket of my dirty jeans with just 4 people: Myself, percy the DP, James the driver and Marc the actor and the results that Percy got are ridiculous and .

"Thank you to Percy Dean because your images are crazy crazy beautiful, Sham and Ross @ Ho9’s, Marc Brady for being a top guy, James Mac for driving everywhere, Percy’s brother for letting us crash in his living room, Aline and Ellora at MPC and Pat at Oliver’s Island for letting me take your camera and just being a great guy with a great company."
