Luke Tierney - 17th July 2014

Simon Roberts has created a wonderful work of stop motion animation for Flight Brigade's Sirens, creating a world that strikingly barren and yet complex. There's a lost figure in a wintry landscape increasingly shorn of trees, and a train heading across the landscape towards a twisted ball of railway track – and the camera mostly maintains a birds-eye view throughout.

Simon is a designer who also animates, who graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2012.
