Scott Altman painstakingly sets up camera body rigs for eight cast members and band for this hugely watchable promo to Fall Out by Ill Blu and Jake Isaac.

With both flowing and jerky motion, the end result is both fluid and mesmersing, and perfectly compliments the ambient beats of the soundtrack.

SCOTT ALTMAN:

"When I was commissioned to direct the video for iLL BLU's Fall Out I was over the moon as I'm a real fan of the track and Jake Isaac's vocals.

"The reason I used a body rig for the shoot is that I'd actually pitched a similar idea on another track of iLL BLU's and felt the same technique could be adapted and suit Fall Out. 

"That said, due to the camera being locked at one angle and the time it takes to set up a body rig up, for eight cast members (band included), the video was going to be a challenge. Then trying to get the required message across, that works with the songs meaning and tone (whilst looking cool), was going to be another task in itself.

"With all this in mind I knew what I was after so not wanting to lose time, it was just a matter of getting stuck in, which everyone did and we went for it.

"It sounds clichéd, but, in all honesty the team, crew, talent and post were incredible and I have to thank them all for putting in the hours to make it happen, so thank you folks."
