Western Disco 'The Sun' by PUSH
PUSH set off for East London with a Pied Piper character (and his band of merry followers) in search of some British sunshine to harness the summer vibes of Western Disco's The Sun.
PUSH
"Directing a video for a track titled "The Sun" kind of only pushes you in a certain direction, but to really ramp up the sun worshiping vibe, we cast a load of extras as hippy/bohemian types, and sent Tom, our lead, on a journey across the city in search of the ultimate party in the sunshine.
"On an even tighter turn around than usual, we pushed the shoot date back as much as we could in search of a sunny day sandwiched in between the late August cloud and rain, which paid off and we couldn't have asked for more from the weather gods.
"Our DOP Ollie Downey captured the most amazing shots on the Alexa with the gorgeous Cooke S4's. The grade by Edwin at Framestore really sets the happy mood of the track, and cranking the colours at a key point gives the viewer a real kick up the backside".
