Not enough colour in your life? This is probably the video to fix that. Maxime Bruneel and a team of four other animators have cut and pasted together a Technicolor wonder for Concorde’s Summer House. It’s not just the pastel colour scheme that’s interesting (and arresting) here though.

Maxime brings us into the world of two lovers, played by Clément Froissart – with interesting facial arrangement – and Charlotte Poutrel. Offbeat yet subtlely sexy scenes are fused and woven together in an intricate collage style, with more than a handful of surreal glue holding it all together – the Parisien band providing the disco dream pop that feels very summery indeed.
