For their no-budget music video for Kid Champion, production company Fenixx – that’s Matthew Connell and Matthew Hoare – decided to spruce up their one-take performance promo with a few alternating speed-changes to give the video a more filmic quality when played back.

Actually, they decided ‘a few’ wasn’t enough – so they went with eighteen in total! Filmed inside the impressive Twickenham Studios and completed on only nine takes, the band’s energetic ‘in-the-round’ performance is captured excellently.
