"He felt going with two people simply getting it on would be too cheesy and on the nose. So Instead he wanted to make something that captures how Disclosure’s style of music literally turns people on. "The video opens as we follow two XLR wires down from the ceiling slowly to see them “plugged” into the back of two peoples necks. They are surrounded with vintage light bulbs of different shapes and sizes that are off. "As the music runs through the XLR cables it literally turns the two people on. Slowly at first (very arty) then progresses as they become more switched on. They are drawn closer together the longer they are turned on, eventually coming together to embrace each other and lock lips. "As the video progresses and the song makes them come ever more alive, the vintage light bulbs in the background will grow brighter illuminating the scene ever more (also very arty). The music quite literally turns everything on". Artful Dodger Please Don't Turn Me On Director: Tom Paton Production Company: TPAK Productions Producer: Ashley Paton DP: George Burt Gaffer: Andy Barak Smith Make up: Melissa Rose Bourne https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=As4WJ-uJwuk
