Tahiti Boy and the Palmtree Family 'The Park' by Arnaud Delord and Vincent FarranéA series of windows invite the viewer into the private lives of city dwellers in the atmospheric video for Tahiti Boy and the Palmtree Family's The Park, co-directed by filmmaker Arnaud Delord and photographer Vincent Farrané. Arnaud and Vincent shot the characters, and built a realistic CGI city around them, at Fortiche in Paris. "We wanted to plunge the spectator into an ambience that was at once nocturnal, urban and melancholic," explain Arnaud and Vincent, who were influenced by the atmospheric cityscapes of the 80s movies of Brian de Palma (and therefore, of course, by Hitchcock). "The protagonists are alone in their homes, somewhere between a dream state and a habitual one, occupied by the 'little nothings' that make up everyday life."
