Dave Ma’s video for Flight Facilities’ Clare De Lune, featuring Christine Hoberg, came out last November and somehow we missed it. So we need to put that right, because it marks a very accomplished move into narrative by the Australian director, now based in the US.

The video focusses on the friendship of two young women – Clare, played by Rachel Parsons, and the more off-the-rails Luna, played by Kelsey Reinhardt – who meet over one night. Something is bound to happen, but the noirish mood also accomodates a level of magic realism.
