Steve Angello 'Yeah' by Fredrik Lund-Hansen & Maceo Frost
Fredrik Lund-Hansen & Maceo Frost present some unlikely super-heroes in this action packed promo for sometime Swedish House Mafia member Steve Angello. Steve's already packing a top video from Peter Serafinowicz for last year's 'Open Your Eyes' (with Alex Metric) and this from Fredrik and Maceo is also a blast of entertainment. Featuring some special effects not usually seen outside of Hollywood movies, the video also has some top comic touches. It's amazing what you can slip up with a banana peel! "Steve approached us this summer with a music video idea he had," explains, Fredrik, creative director of the Stockholm-based creative agency Cuepoint Studios. "First of all, it was fun that he did. Even though we didn't have any music video experience he trusted us. He sent us a picture of an old lady dressed up as a superhero and said 'I want this lady to star in my next video somehow'. "A week later we sent back a script that he instantly approved. We weren't really prepared that he would agree on everything we'd written down, but he was cool and just said 'Ok, let's do it!'. So after that, the challenge began, to fix all these things we had promised: flying cars over New York, a secret sliding door, blowing up a water tower in Brooklyn and more... It became a lot of late nights, pizza and "solving puzzles", but in the end it was all worth it."
