Siebe de Boer's video for Dutch band Space Siren's Who Makes Me Try was inspired by photos made with an electron microscope, and was animated in 3D in black and white (because an electron microscope can only make black and white pictures).

"It's a story about 'creation and destruction'," says Siebe, who's based in Groningen. "In the beginning I aimed at getting a 'David Attenborough' vibe, but it changed a bit in the process. I started with colours, but b/w made sense in the end, especially with the source material."
