Beautifully shot by award-winning DP Jean Louis-Schuller on 16mm film using Paillard Bolex, Jem Goulding's interpretation of Mystery Jets' Someone Purer delivers a new twist on the classic band-playing-in-the-desert promo by shooting in the north-west English town of Carlisle.

The promo, part one of a trilogy for Mystery Jets, was filmed whilst they were on tour - with the band clambering over barbed wire fences with their equipment to shoot from sunrise to sunset in a local quarry. The video was specifically produced for the US release of their new album Radlands. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/XILvOrna0RA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""/>
