Sophie Gateau turns synth duo Last Days Of 1984 (and the odd vase of flowers) into multicoloured swirling tentacles in this very effective promo for the band's River's Edge.

"Brian and Darren from Last Days of 1984 came to Paris to shoot the video for two days in a tiny studio at Sabotage Studio," explains Sophie.

"At the same time, we shot a bunch of 360? of the flowers in stop-motion. Then we spent one month in post-production to achieve the 'tentacles' effect with the software After Effects and Particular."
