Jimmy Brown - 2nd Dec 2011

Ben Lankester takes the emotional Sea Of Regrets by Leeds band I Like Trains and turns in a beautifully brooding promo with a compelling performance from actor Segun Akingbola.

"The video was shot over a week in Brighton, suburban and inner-city Paris, Calais and finally London," Ben explains. "It wasn't easy: our car was broken into on our first night in Paris and we had a brief run-in with the French police on a beach in Calais.

"Most of the budget went into travel and accommodation costs. This meant we shot in France with a crew of just two, with myself, Matt and Segun sharing scummy hotel rooms, while we backed up footage and tried to keep up morale." But the result is a very affecting story, which suits the track extremely well.
