It's the 1st of December - the traditional moment to dust down the old Advent calendar, and start counting down the days to Christmas. But this year there's an Alternative... "I started to create content for the live arena as a way of giving life to graphical ideas that may never have otherwise seen the light of day," David explains. "This project's musical participants have treated their submissions in a similar way, making the calendar an opportunity to air musical phrases and experiments that never made it into fully-formed songs; an outlet for unrealised ideas. Hope you enjoy this alternative countdown to Christmas." The first clip is David's collaboration with Oscar Cash, and you can follow the Alternative Advent every day here.
