Puppini Sisters 'Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend' by Alex de Campi
Alex de Campi delivers this retro, stylish and camp promo for the Puppini Sisters' reading of Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend.
"We wanted to honour the Puppini Sisters' retro tradition while also reinterpreting it in a more contemporary, fashionable light," Alex explains. "So our starting point were pulp novel covers and the pinups of Gil Elvgren via Vogue Magazine. DP Dave Miller brought along a wonderful set of vintage anamorphic lenses that flared beautifully and also allowed us to do some very classic full-body wides to echo the pinup feel. And of course there's a mountain of bling (I want that phone) and some fun VFX.
