Sophie Gateau's video for Patrick Kelleher and His Cold Dead Hands' Miracle Candle (from the new album Golden Syrup) is her second for the Irish band and rather more intense and claustrophobic than her first.

Sophie Gateau's video for Patrick Kelleher and His Cold Dead Hands' Miracle Candle (from the new album Golden Syrup) is her second for the Irish band and rather more intense and claustrophobic than her first. "After the success of the first video Wintertime's Doll I shot last winter, the label Osaka Records asked me if I wanted to shoot a new video for their next album Golden Syrup," Sophie explains. "The only condition was that the band was in the video this time. So I flew to Dublin to shoot them in their rehearsal studio - a tiny basement. The video is all about this claustrophobic space and a translation of the strange feelings you got inside."
