Black Black Hills 'The Celebration' by Blac Ionica
David Knight - 11th Aug 2011
In this modern gothic chiller for The Celebration by Black Black Hills (the band formerly known as Saint Joan), an illegal metal detectorist (a 'Nighthawk') plunders secluded parts of the land... with dire consequences.

It was directed by Blac Ionica. "Upon hearing the track we felt inspired to create something that was firmly rooted in British folklore. 'The Celebration' is a thematically and emotively dark sounding song and we wanted to tell a simple but very cinematic and gripping story that would focus on the atmosphere of the track without being a literal translation of the lyrics. "As the track is so evocative and visual, we really felt that to do the song any justice we needed to tell a story."
