Joe Marshall from MIE explains: "After working on his December Song video, George Michael asked us to realise an idea he had for the video of his cover of New Order's True Faith. The original, classic, video was based on the Bauhaus Triadic ballet, so we also used this as our inspiration. "We decided to create dancing characters, who are formed from smoke and inhabit George's world in the promo. We motion captured some contemporary ballet and used this as the basis for our smoke dancers."
