Goose’s Synrise by David Strindberg & Johan Bring
Belgian outfit Goose's new track Synrise is a slow-revealing parade of extraordinary party animals - like gay pride on acid - by David Strindberg and Johan Bring of PUNX in Stockholm, finishing with the sort of supercar usually spotted on Top Gear, but thankfully without the boorish xeonophobic petrolhead.
"As usual we did most of the production ourselves," says David, who with partner Johan previously created very cool animated vids for Lucy And The Teenage Monster and Ascii.Disco. "Everything from idea, to grading, visual effects, editing, making masks and jewelry for the characters. But this time we also got some help from a great stylist called Max Eriksson with realizing our ideas for the characters appearance.
"When the Lamborghini arrived we noticed the doors to the studio wouldn't open because of all the ice on the ground. So, in minus 25 degrees celsius we spent an hour chopping ice using the heaviest and hardest objects around - two tripods. It kinda gets you going and warmed up before the shoot."
