What started as a modestly budgeted production in London became, with some brand help much more ambitious international affair, shot on 35mm film, featuring a rather hard-core cast and crew, and quite an adventure. Kasra explains that producer Yasha Malekzad had to "fly and land a small propeller plane from Mexico to Los Angeles in order to smuggle the film rolls back while the drunken pilot took a nap - no, really it's true!"
