So you are making a video for the new Daft Punk soundtrack to Tron Legacy, knowing that there are about a thousand videos already made that were 'inspired by' the original movie. What do you do Answer: make it even more unimpeachably, definitively Tron-like.
The video for Daft Punk's Derezzed by Warren Fu is a near-perfect appetizer for the main course that arrives this weekend (December 17). Only the first two shots are from the actual movie, but you'd never know. Its brilliantly made (with post work done at The Mill) and of course, the familiar Daft Punk iconography is a seamless fit.
