Amplifetes’ Blinded By The Moonlight by Mattias Erik Johansson

"We talked a lot about what kind of idea we all wanted and how I could have direct contact with the band which I prefer, instead of just pumping out treatments," explains Mattias. "You can get an organic idea that develops through time together with the band as a team. "In the last couple of years I've gone from liking social realism to a lot of space, sci-fi and wasteland stuff. The two guys guilty of making me take that direction were the Sound of Arrows guys that I have had the pleasure of working with lately. Another inspiration is of course my childhood, and all the best movies like Mad Max, Alien, 2001, Apocalypse Now and so on. I'm just waiting to have the budget to do the 'Alien comes and takes away young children to save earth' music video!"
