Claire Edmondson, better known for her styling on promos for Roisin Murphy, Gnarls Barkley and Feist, has moved into the directing world and marks her debut with this low budget promo for up and coming Toronto artist Diamond Rings.

Showcasing a knack for more costume changes than Cher in several high school-centric scenarios, Diamond is a compelling performer and potentially a star in the making. "My references sat somewhere between Basketball Diaries meets The Craft," says Claire. "But really, I just wanted to have some fun, without having to be 'cute' or 'sweet'."
