Morcheeba’s Even Though by Ian ‘Emma’ Bonhote

For her return to Morcheeba, Skye Edwards' first track with the band since 2003 is subject to this beautifully-directed, mostly-submerged promo from Ian 'Emma' Bonhote.

For her return to Morcheeba, Skye Edwards' first track with the band since 2003 is subject to this beautifully-directed, mostly-submerged promo from Ian 'Emma' Bonhote. "The idea came about whilst talking through the lyrics with Skye and I suggested that we shoot the whole thing underwater," Ian explains. "Not simply for the aesthetic, though beautiful - or the budget, not so big. But because it should be the basis for the videos narrative - a stunning underwater creature and the unfamiliar settings that she explores. "It was one of those videos that worked, despite so many things that could have gone wrong. I had a great crew and an amazing artist who was in the tank for a long, long time and just kept on giving, even though she was absolutely freezing".
