The drily witty, minimalist video for the first single from High Violet, the new album by The National, features singer Matt Berninger and his fine raincoat. It was directed by directed by Hope Hall, Andreas Burgess, and Matt's wife Carin Besser - and D.A. Pennebaker cameos as the bartender.
High Violet is very good indeed apparently. Can it possibly be as good as Boxer
