The recent news from Iceland make Ace Norton's promo for Felix Caral's synth-rocking Volcano strangely topical.

"Where in the world is Dan Rather Growing up, my family would put on the CBS evening news every single night while we ate dinner" explains Ace. "When CBS fired him, I didn't realize how comforting his voice was until it wasn't there. With all this coverage about the volcano in Iceland, it only seemed right to give the man one last broadcast.

"The video was a real family affair - we shot it on a shoestring budget and pulled favours from friends and family. Chuck Church, my neighbour doubled as both set PA and as the actor in the Hawaiian Tshirt. Brad Golden, my writing partner, played the guy with the clunky oversized glasses. All the singing lips are actually mine because I was the only person who knew the lyrics to the song... "
