The Temper Trap’s Sweet Disposition by Daniel Eskils
Daniel was inspired by the work of artist Roman Signer - in particular Signer's 'action sculptures', where he enacts and records explosions, collisions and the projection of objects through space. So Daniel has the band doing much the same thing with their instruments.
It may not be Rube Goldbergian, but as with OK Go's They Shall Not Pass, there's a lot of imaginative destruction here. Daniel is also working on a new campaign with Dutch agency KesselsKramer, a new TV series for Swedish television, and a campaign to the benefit of SOS Children's Villages.
Meanwhile, we continue to wait for a UK release date for Dougal Wilson's video for the same band's Love Lost - a very different beast - even though it played at BUG 18 earlier this month. It's probably out there somewhere...
