Weirdness, owls, and the longest fade-down in music video history, as Neptune drives his Morris Minor to the coast for a date with destiny.

With someone called Eddie Gooch dressed as a butterfly on drums. No, I don't understand either, but this no-budget video for Petit Gris is a fine departure by Matt Cummins - better known in music video circles as a producer.

"We headed down to the coast through the wilds of Kent and checked into a trailer park where we met up with my good friend, Finch (the DP) and his lovely girlfriend, Ali," Matt recalls. "Other than a phone number for an eccentric owl lover named Brian we only had a loose outline for the video that would ultimately lead us to the sea."

The result is odd but lovely - shot on the Canon 5D Mk II, of course.
