David Knight - 22nd May 2009

As well as their new short film Mariachi!, Phil and Olly of Diamond Dogs have been busy with new promos recently - firstly a fine performance vid for Hockey, and now Phil Sansom has directed this Mod-tastic clip for The Enemy.

And how perfect for Whitsun Bank Holiday. Phil and his team - including top DoP guy Will Bex and top stylist lady Hannah Glossop - recreate those halcyon days when young people wore well-cut clothes, had decent haircuts, and 45 years ago today were heading off on their Vespas to Brighton for a weekend of purple hearts and pitched battles on the seafront.

Young hearts run free.
