Mat Whitecross has spent a lot of time working with Coldplay over the past year or so, from making the dancing politicians viral for Violet Hill, to live stuff. And he's certainly not done yet. In fact, he is now preparing to shoot a documentary about the band as they spend '09 plugging away at touring the current album and making the next one.

Mat also directed the video for Lovers In Japan - also featuring the band in fairly hyperactive mode. It has them playing in a variety of settings and backgrounds - and there's a fair bit of 'light-writing' too.

Meanwhile their brand new video directed by Dougal Wilson, for Life In Technicolour II, premieres on Channel 4 tomorrow night.
