David Knight - 5th Jan 2009

In his fourth video for Geordie rapper Dap-C - his other videos include one for Smile - Shane Davey brings together two of the towering issues of 2008 - urban youth violence and the credit crunch - in one effective narrative.

Even though this was clearly done on a shoestring, it tells a believable story of cause and effect. And you get the bigger picture here too: finding a way out of the 'hood is getting tougher all the time.
