The Scaramanga Six's I Wear My Heart... by Paul Morricone
David Knight - 29th Apr 2008
A young businessman wishing to join a secretive gentleman's club is lured into a Masonic world of grisly terror. Yes, something horrible is going to happen.
It's directed by Paul Morricone of Poison Pen Films - and Paul also stars together with twin brother Steven: The Scaramanga Six are the brothers' distinctive glam-punk-rock-pop outfit who regularly rock the Huddersfield/Leeds area. Paul started out as a musician before turning his hand to making videos - and his band also have very fine guitarist called Julia.
The video was shot in Leeds Central Library, and made to look grander and spookier with visual effects. "We got into the Tiled Hall just before it opened to the public to do most of it, then had to film a lot of the storyline in and around the library whilst it was open to the public," explains Paul. "It was one of the quietest shoots I've ever done."
And it's excellent for a zero budget job, fitted around other work "which is why it is approximately nine months too late for the release of the single," says Paul.
