an_simian_mobile_disco_hustler8.jpgSome would regard a new video for SMD’s Hustler as unnecessary considering Saam’s original is a naughty work of genius. But when you think about it, the label probably felt they needed something a little more daytime friendly… Oh well, bang goes that theory. Ace Norton's remake, out for a couple of weeks now, is certainly an eyeful, but behind it lies a serious message about the cruel media fixation with female physical perfection and it's direct relationship to the disturbing level of eating disorders among young girls. We think. Anyway, young Ace Norton explains it for himself, including addressing its Cunningham-like aspects and providing some handsome on-set shots, at Shots Ring Out.
