Florence Kosky brings the transcendent style she recently employed with Labrinth to play with Raissa, who embarks on an epic, wondrous journey into a magical unknown in the video for Crowded.&nbsp;With the live action footage of Raissa wandering into the great outdoors at night touched by hyperreal colour and glowing lights, her journey into fantasy is completed by the switch to full 2D animation. That is the work of&nbsp;Anthony Scheppard -&nbsp;a master of animated psychedelia, who employs his style to fulfill Kosky's vision. It's a notable piece to showcase the young artist, signed to Mark Ronson's Zelig label, and this up-and-coming director.

Charlie Robins explores dance culture in his brilliant video for Rudimental.&nbsp;Opening with a preamble where several characters discuss their love for dance and movement, the video documents the ritual of a night out, albeit under current social distancing guidelines.The group of friends inhabit an almost empty nightclub space, but none of them are bothered in the least. They dance, pose, pop bottles of champagne and relish in the glow of strobes and laser lights.&nbsp;Reminding us of drunken nights on the dancefloor with our nearest and dearest, the hyper-stylised aesthetic and contrasting neon colours (care of DoP&nbsp;Pieter Snyman)&nbsp;feel&nbsp;incredibly contemporary and reflective of an optimistic future post-Covid.&nbsp;

Charlie Robins directs a distorted performance video for Yellow Days, featuring&nbsp;Mac Demarco.&nbsp;Shot against a green-screen with tracking markers prominently on display, the visual for The Curse starts as straight performance, before Yellow Days - aka&nbsp;George&nbsp;van den Broek - glitches into a virtual avatar, cloning and multiplying against the increasingly warped backdrop.&nbsp;Cascading into weirder aesthetics, the environment becomes a pre-vis playground, scrambling through dozens of locations and forms. And there's a cameo from Mac Demarco - his&nbsp;3D avatar, that is - during his guitar instrumental break.&nbsp;Quirky and offbeat, the video is an excellent accompaniment to the lilting track, and a testament to the slew of ways the human likeness can be manipulated through technology.&nbsp;&nbsp;
