A&nbsp;red furry worm in a modernist Mediterranean village acquires the means to run about, in artist/animator Serguei Spoutnik&#39;s supercool, witty, Dali-meets-Bugs Bunny squareformatted video for French electronica artists Apollo Noir.&nbsp;This is the second part of a&nbsp;trilogy of videos by Spoutnik to accompany the release of the band&#39;s debut album &lsquo;A/N&rsquo; - the first being <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwJAtkm6fd0" target="_blank">Coding Augmented Reality</a>.

French directing team Parachutes&#39; marvellous&nbsp;music video debut&nbsp;for Scottish/French duo Maestro&#39;s Darlin&#39; Celsa&nbsp;taps&nbsp;into the gamut of negative feelings that a high school yearbook can inspire, and by&nbsp;channelling everyone from&nbsp;Terry Gilliam to Cyriak Harris (probably) take things to the ultimate conclusion.Our anonymous middle aged protagonist flicks through the pages of the Mount Madness Academy yearbook for 1974, to view the alluring Celsa, the only girl in the class. And then, by a form of telepathy,&nbsp;he initiates&nbsp;an&nbsp;imaginative display of revenge&nbsp;on the photos of her male classmates...It&#39;s an absolute riot of genius After Effects work, with an&nbsp;irreverent, super-violent narrative drive. And there&#39;s more than a few cameos from the French music scene among the doomed grads of Mount Madness too. Great stuff.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Simply put,&nbsp;sex sells. DyE created headlines with the video for Fantasy, an extremely NSFW sex and gore animation by Jeremie Perin. And although things have been slightly toned down, and brightened up, in the follow-up, the video for&nbsp;She&#39;s Bad directed by Dent De Cuir (filmmaking duo Jean-Philippe Chartrand and Benjamin Mege) is still a provocative combination of erotica and extreme violence.&nbsp;The video sees a temptress (Aude Auffret) meet her date at a tiki bar, her face replaced with library footage cuttings of wildlife.&nbsp;Predictable&nbsp;and then very disturbing results ensue. Ouch.&quot;It is about a girl, a bad one, who&rsquo;s too sexy for human beings,&rdquo; says DyE, aka French producer Juan de Guillebon. &quot;[Fantasy] was a difficult thing to follow up. I hope this one&rsquo;s crazy enough for people.&quot;&ldquo;We were looking at John Stezaker&rsquo;s layered, peel-away collages, and referenced a book of tattoos and how they sit on the body,&rdquo; say Dent de Cuir, who have also created color-splashed animated works for Modeselektor and Sebastian.&nbsp;&nbsp;
