Three Minutes is a creative initiative set up by Crack Magazine and its production company Ground Work.It&#039;s an incubator scheme for unsigned directors aged 26 and under, with a focus on supporting talent from underrepresented groups and disadvantaged backgrounds.

London filmmaker Naomi Grant has shared a director’s cut of Infidel, the music video she directed for New York singer-songwriter Infinite Coles.The video was created through Three Minutes, Crack Magazine’s incubator scheme funding five music videos by young, unsigned directors.Shot in a warehouse setting, with well-crafted use of colour and art direction around the performance by Coles and a dancer,&nbsp;the Infidel music video is a poignant depiction of the journey to self-discovery and the confusion and isolation that come with it. Following its release last month, this is the Director’s Cut, which expands on Grant's vision.

Avesta Keshtmand directs a transcendent promo for&nbsp;Emma-Jean Thackray.Inspired by the themes and aesthetics of sci-fi, psychedelia&nbsp;and B-movies, Thackray and Keshtmand tell the story of an outsider at a dinner party, full of mass-produced foods and judgemental side-glances. Lost in her own world, Emma-Jean is then transported to somewhere more natural, flowery and free.Oozing a sense of carefree nostalgia, the video is mesmerising to look at, and celebrates the maximalist art and aesthetics of the time period it pays homage to.&nbsp;Avesta Keshtmand is a British-Afghan filmmaker living and working in London.&nbsp;Last year, Keshtmand was one of five unsigned British directors to win a place on Three Minutes,&nbsp;Crack Magazine’s incubator scheme funding five music videos by rising talents. ZMARAKS explores the notion of humans vs monsters in their anime-inspired promo for Misogi's Bunny, featuring Oklou.&nbsp;Shot in a hazy, dreamlike fashion, the concept spans zombie-style cannibalism, subdued performance and even makes space for a trippy 3D interlude.&nbsp;ZMARAKS is a British filmmaker and visual artist from Bradford who works between their home city and London.Last year, ZMARAKS was one of five unsigned British directors to win a place on Three Minutes – Crack Magazine’s incubator scheme funding five music videos by rising talents. The scheme is produced in association with&nbsp;production company Ground Work and made possible by Burberry, Shure and BFI NETWORK.For their Three Minutes project, they were able to expand their vision of caustic scenes and immersive narratives by connecting with two artists with a similarly hyperreal worldview. Meet London-based oddball pop producer MISOGI and French singer/composer Oklou. On their collaboration, Bunny, the pair find a common ground on a high-impact, tears-on-the-dancefloor banger. It’s the kind of song which makes anyone with a visual imagination run wild. And they did.On the collaboration, MISOGI told Crack Magazine:&nbsp;“When I saw the treatment for the video I knew I had to go with it. Aliyah understood from the beginning that I wanted the juxtaposition of a creepy video and a cute song to be really prominent and they definitely delivered exactly what I wanted."

Rudá Santos's video for Ross From Friends,&nbsp;for the electronic DJ’s new single The Daisy,&nbsp;blends a reverence for speed-cubing competitions and a bittersweet twist worthy of a sci-fi classic.We are transported through a trippy time-warp to an unassuming park, where a young girl discovers a Rubik’s Cube and a timer on a bench. Her passion for ‘speed-cubing’ ignited, we then follow her on a journey where she works to master her skills.Our young heroine progresses to a speed-cubing competition,&nbsp;battling through to reach her goal in time. As she wins the competition, however, viewers are confronted with a surreal twist...&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]Blending an admiration for speed-cubing&nbsp;with the unexpected ending, Rudá Santos also employed 3D animated sequences to bookend the film and reinforce the sci-fi elements. In order to capture authentic, realistic performances, he also chose to cast real Rubik’s Cubers in the promo - including Katie Mouchan-Davies as the main protagonist.

Wretch 32 worked with director Edem Wornoo on this epic 11-minute short film weaving tracks from his Little BIG Man project&nbsp; - a nine-track meditation on incarceration, violence and poverty - into a narrative about the cycle of reoffending, inner turmoil and home.Shot on location in London, the film explores themes of work, community and performance with scale and sensitivity.Last year, Wornoo was one of five unsigned British directors to win a place on <a href="https://threeminut.es/" target="_blank">Three Minutes</a> – Ground Work’s incubator scheme funding five music videos by rising talents.The scheme is produced in association with our production company Ground Work and made possible by Burberry, Shure and BFI NETWORK. The project has also received funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
