William Baker, Kylie Minogue&#39;s influential creative director for many years, and now working with the Killers, makes a significant step as a music video director with this blissful dream of a video for new pop star Nuuxs.The video for Real Love (from her Pearl EP), in which Nuuxs and pals take a trip to the country on a beautiful English summer&#39;s day, and pair off with each other, was inspired by&nbsp;Sofia Coppola&rsquo;s The Virgin Suicides and Ryan McGinley&rsquo;s photography - with a nod to the eroticism of Bertolucci&#39;s The Dreamers.It&#39;s also the first result of Baker&#39;s signing as director to new production outfit, Iron Age Pictures, set up by producer Matthew Clyde.

Kenny McCracken combines an engaging&nbsp;performance with a thrilling action storyline in the same impressive location, for Alex Maxwell&#39;s Signs.In an unfinished circular theatre, Alex and her band hold&nbsp;the floor while an escape narrative is played out by a free runner over the surrounding levels - until we discover&nbsp;that performance and story are happening in parallel dimensions, with the repetitive architecture a metaphor for the constraining effect of technology.&nbsp;

Shot on 35mm film&nbsp;in and around South London, Courtney Edwards&#39; latest Bakery Boys video&nbsp;follows the young&nbsp;lead character Kayden&nbsp;as he hustles to pay for a household bill.The video cuts&nbsp;back and forth between the rappers&#39; performance and the narrative, which sees the boy working hard to make money by washing cars after&nbsp;finding the unpaid bill clipped onto the fridge. Overall, a solid video with a happy ending,&nbsp;representing youthful endeavours, love and&nbsp;hard work.

Steve Glashier provides teenage rock band&nbsp;The Strypes with a more&nbsp;sophisticated setting for their brand of blues-rock than previously in the video&nbsp;for A Good Night&#39;s Sleep And A Cab Fare Home: a bumper-to-bumper traffic jam at night bathed in classically erotic red streetlight.&nbsp;The boys are all performing from their own cars, and their serenading is revealed to be directed at a mysterious girl in white &ndash; she&#39;s&nbsp;the cause of the massive hold-up.Glashier, who has been working this year with Black Rivers (the new project by members of Doves), Longfellow, Postcards from Jeff, Chrissie Hynde and Simply Red, shot the video on a test track in Bedford &ndash; and all within the few hours of darkness of the British midsummer.&nbsp;

Directing duo &#39;Sblood have delivered this crisp, well-executed performance video for Jack Savoretti&#39;s track Written in Scars.It features a sprightly&nbsp;host of talented&nbsp;dancers performing an energetic&nbsp;choreograpy by&nbsp;Navala Chaudhari.&nbsp;&#39;Sblood&nbsp;explained, &nbsp;&#39;we wanted to create a stripped back performance with Jack at the centre. We came up with the idea of using dancers as a metaphor for society and their explosion of movement could symbolise the energy released when a revolution happens.&#39;
