Director duo Simon Davis and Jason Sondock - aka rubberband. - craft a bold and daring video for Bakar&nbsp;where&nbsp;the British alt-soul artist literally stops the traffic in the middle of Piccadilly Circus.The video for Alive! begins at this iconic British location, where curious onlookers are transfixed by the car that has stopped, holding up all the&nbsp;traffic behind on a rain-sodden day in central London. Teenage love fails to run smoothly in Ethan &amp; Tom's excellent take on a high school musical for Tendai.A frosty moment between Tendai and his girlfriend - played by&nbsp;Sephora Parish - is played out in the halls of a London school, in a series of well-crafted sequences that involve a sizeable supporting cast.It's of a piece with the directing duo's facility with experimental camera techniques, with a constantly moving camera, which ends up rotating around the couple.But this is also arguably Ethan &amp; Tom's most sophisticated video so far in terms of execution, with an element of dramatic tension and a proper pop video feel in terms of scale and look. A real step-up for the talented directing duo.

Jocelyn Anquetil directs a whimsical promo for the return of Archie Marshall, aka King Krule.&nbsp;The video for Seaforth opens with a montage of sleeping faces, including Marshall's own, before the illusory setting is washed away in a dusty haze. There is the dreamlike sensibility of a number of previous, supercool King Krule clips - but what follows in Seaforth is a definite sea-change.From Archie pondering the world on a sandy beach and in his country cottage, the focus switches to two Labrador dogs - mother and cute puppy -&nbsp;and their encounters with the human world. And the absurdity of it - cute pets in a King Krule vieo - is what makes the&nbsp;viewing experience so fun.&nbsp;Shot in&nbsp;both HD and lo-fi Mini DV, the video has a random, nostalgic aesthetic, and makes very good use of dog footage. We can only suspect that the experience on-set wasn't quite as laidback and charming as the final result...[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;

An intense, grotesque, extraordinary&nbsp;video for Slowthai by directing collective Crowns &amp; Owls.With great cinematography by Jack Exton and terrific grade by Tim Smith that punches the richness of the colours to the max, this has a hyperreal visual aesthetic as visceral as this powerful track&nbsp;deserves, without sinking into darkness.But at the heart is the performance of Tyron Frampton&nbsp;(aka Slowthai) himself, which is remarkable. It's a visible howl of anguish and pain, but still with that unmistakeable chink of impudence and humour.

Director duos The Rest and UNCANNY team up for an 'exercise in patience and self reflection' in the video for slowthai's Selfish.&nbsp;The video sees the artist trapped in a glass box, with nothing but paint, paper and his own reflection as company.&nbsp;Swapping out his often-cheeky persona for a much darker, introspective side of his character, the video is full of angst, fear and confusion, which is mirrored by the bubbling tension and explosive release in the cinematography.&nbsp;Opening with a slow, contained tracking shot to establish the environment, the camera soon launches into a frantic sprint from side to side, enveloping the mayhem that is unleashed on the inside of the box.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Nathan James Tettey reunites with Headie One to direct&nbsp;a cinematic promo for viral track Martin's Sofa.&nbsp;The director leans into the themes of the track, which pay tribute to a friend who helped the artist right at the start of his career.&nbsp;A montage of&nbsp;vignettes play out across the four-minute runtime, ranging from dreamlike, vibrant set pieces to exterior performance sections, all tied together with a sense of community and friendship. And having just signed to Knucklehead for global representation, it's a great way for Tettey to start a new chapter in his career.&nbsp;&nbsp;"Making Martin's Sofa was the most out of body experience I’ve endured in a while but I loved every second of it and to see the response from Headie’s fans has been incredible to witness because really making this video was for them as well as for Headie and Martin," Tettey has said. "Martin's actual sofa is real and was used in the video but the sentiment of what Headie is talking about is also real as well and for me was perfectly illustrated in the process all of us went through trying to bring his vision to life. Getting up each day at the crack of dawn and working into the deep of night to try and solve as many problems and tick as many boxes as is humanly possible before getting back up to do it all again the next day. "I just want to thank every member of the immediate team...&nbsp;Myself, Headie and Martin couldn’t have done it without you…"&nbsp;

LOOSE directs a fun promo for Fred Again..., celebrating the day that his new album came out.&nbsp;The video is prefaced by a message from the artist, who explains that he put out a call for fans to congregate in Hyde Park in central London&nbsp;with their bikes to celebrate the release of his new project. What ensued was a rather chaotic yet celebratory event.&nbsp;Presented in a mix of vertical and traditional 16:9 videos, the concept makes use of user-generated footage&nbsp;intercut with snapshots of Fred's POV, as the group ride haphazardly around London streets.&nbsp;The spontaneity of the concept and rudimental footage gives the video an organic, truthful feel, and proves that sometimes the simplest ideas can create something super effective.&nbsp;
