Nick Bartleet sets up a gripping scenario right from the start of his video for Dan Owen. A couple are on the run in wild&nbsp;English countryside, being tracked down by two men in a 4x4, and about to be caught, in scenes reminiscent of&nbsp;Daniel Wolfe&#39;s debut feature Catch Me Daddy.Owen plays one half of the escaping couple, who evade their attackers at first. They come again, this time with dogs, but Bartleet toys with viewer&#39;s expectations, and arguably leaves more questions than answers, in a video framed in 4:3 and beautifully photographed&nbsp;by David Foulkes.

Director and Composer Frederick Lloyd creates an awesome cinematic visual accompaniment for his debut album&nbsp;Respire.Set in the dying days of humanity, the 11-minute film is sparse on dialogue - allowing the visuals and the score to carry the emotional story of a young couple, presumably the last on Earth, in their last days together. Laden with amazing visual effects and production design evoking the eerie feeling of post-human spaces like Pripyat, Ukraine and Centralia, Pennsylvania. The result is a gorgeous, minimal meditation on love, humanity, and life itself.
