Troy Roscoe takes things to a new nerve-shredding level in his latest collab with Potter Payper, in a brilliant, horror movie-inspired&nbsp;video for Scenes.&nbsp;Paying homage to some of the great horror films - including&nbsp;Ring and The Shining - reality distorts in Potter's home, bringing as supernatural entities and clones invade his safe space. Troy Roscoe directs a stripped-back yet hugely captivating promo for Potter Payper.&nbsp;Shot at night with a backdrop of neon shopfronts, the video features a tireless performance from Payper, whilst different characters play out their day-to-day routines.&nbsp;The approach works like a charm on this project, with the three minute runtime passing by like a bright spark, never feeling stale or tired."Simplicity is key in this one," Rocoe explains.&nbsp;"I think sometimes as creatives we overthink our ideas, trying to constantly improve on what’s already out there or to come up with something that’s not been done. But sometimes you have to reign it in and realise less is more."Shot in what was actually three takes, this one-take form visual sees Potter Payper in a dystopian-lit corner shop location, as the world around him evolves, whilst he performs in a nonchalant manner undisturbed by anything around him. Potter smashed this and took direction super well, which enabled us to shoot all of this within two&nbsp;hours!"I'm definitely going to get into more one-take content -&nbsp;or even just more tripod shots as not everything has to have crazy movement."

Director duos The Rest and UNCANNY team up for an 'exercise in patience and self reflection' in the video for slowthai's Selfish.&nbsp;The video sees the artist trapped in a glass box, with nothing but paint, paper and his own reflection as company.&nbsp;Swapping out his often-cheeky persona for a much darker, introspective side of his character, the video is full of angst, fear and confusion, which is mirrored by the bubbling tension and explosive release in the cinematography.&nbsp;Opening with a slow, contained tracking shot to establish the environment, the camera soon launches into a frantic sprint from side to side, enveloping the mayhem that is unleashed on the inside of the box.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Hector Dockrill directs a heartwrenching promo for new Lewis Capaldi track Pointless.&nbsp;The narrative for the video captures a mother-son relationship with beautiful and heart-breaking intimacy. Spanning a couple of decades, the concept follows a&nbsp;single mother who strives against all odds to give her son the life she never had, and is packed with an emotional punch.&nbsp;With a wonderful performance&nbsp;from&nbsp;BAFTA winner Niamh Algar (The Virtues, Raised by Wolves)&nbsp;and three actors playing the son at different stages of his life - including Charley Palmer-Rothwell as her grown-up son -&nbsp;the video reinterprets the song's lyrics to explore a different type of relationship, and it works perfectly.[imgtoken data:1]The naturalistic cinematography and relatable themes help make the video feel incredibly realistic and universal, and it will no doubt have viewers thinking about their own loved ones as we enter the festive period.&nbsp;With mixed dialogue throughout, we both hear and see glimpses into the ups and downs of their daily lives over the years including financial hardship and the tightrope of being a working single parent. And in keeping with the theme of family, Laura Dockrill – Hector’s sister - wrote the script, making this a family affair both on and off screen.“Lewis had a beautiful idea that focused on the mother/son bond, and how responsibility shifts as you grow older," says Hector Dockrill. "Niamh Algar is a phenomenal talent and we’re already chomping at the bit to work together again. With only a week’s prep, she managed to immerse herself into the role and completely make it her own. Never a good sign...THE&nbsp;REST - Alex Motlhabane and Lewis Levi - ratchet up the tension throughout this enigmatic narrative, alluding to&nbsp;the legendary tale of the Creature of Bodmin Moor and a cult that feverishly worships it.SBTRKT came up with the concept, with Nila - who created the artwork that is central to the narrative. A day from Hell just won't let up, in&nbsp;Hector Dockrill's tragic promo for Chase &amp; Status and BackRoad Gee.&nbsp;&nbsp;The video for When It Rains features actor Jack McMullen as a down-on-his-luck everyman, trying to go about his day to day life to disastrous effect.&nbsp;It all starts with an antagonistic phone call and a cigarette lit the wrong way, and builds to a high-octane climax full of suspense, blood, chase scenes&nbsp;and the opportunity for the character to finally get the nicotine hit he's gagging for.&nbsp;Brilliant work which anchors on McMullen's performance and a Dockrill's keen eye for narrative.&nbsp;

"We spoke of wanting to build on Gangsta, pushing that aesthetic. Our tag line became, 'If Gangsta was the journey, Payback is the fruition’. We then paired this up with inspiration from old school music videos by the likes of Beastie Boys and NWA with low angled framing, which helped to create a really dynamic visual across the board. We felt this ‘old school’ backbone matched and elevated the sound that Swindle masterfully pieced together."It was an honour to quite literally dance with Kojey again and it was my first time working with Knucks, who is such a great artist and someone I'd admired from afar for a while. JLS are back! Samuel Douek directs an empowering promo for Little Mix's Love (Sweet Love).This is Douek and the&nbsp;group’s third collaboration, celebrating ten&nbsp;years of Little Mix, and is the title track from their&nbsp;forthcoming album.The concept was inspired by the Pre-Raphaelite art movement and the lesser known Sisterhood that romanticised nature and emboldened women through painting.“I wanted to celebrate Little Mix as the regal queens they are; unimpressed by a cohort of Knights that vie for their attention,” explains Douek.&nbsp;The opulent promo is shot in a spectacular orangery-style space, adorned with a mesmerising selection of plants, whilst the styling and makeup create a fantasy world that really bring the track to life.&nbsp;This is one of the first films to come out of CAMP Productions, recently founded by Douek and executive producer Francesca Woods.&nbsp; &nbsp;
