A self-destructive&nbsp;twentysomething regains his sense of self-worth&nbsp;in a boxing club in Danny Chan's stirring video for singer-songwriter Declan J Donovan.&nbsp;This is a tale of redemption which has both a classic structure and a very contemporary feel, addressing issues of masculinity in a rapidly changing world. This has&nbsp;a gritty, almost documentary film look, and the performances have an energy and passion that comes from experience. As Danny Chan reveals below, his cast of unknowns have all learned important lessons in character-building in the boxing ring.&nbsp;&nbsp;Intercut&nbsp;with a performance by Donovan in the same Islington boxing gym, DoP David Wright's cinematography, including&nbsp;frenetic closeups of fighting and training, also places the viewer&nbsp;in the protagonist's shoes - a journey of&nbsp;frustration, guilt, ultimately discovery and redemption.[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;

Lauren Auder returns with another dazzling performance in Will Reid's video for Meek.&nbsp;In their second collaboration together,&nbsp;Auder sheds the shackles of anxiety and questioning seen in the previous clip for <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2020/01/16/lauren-auder-june-14th-will-reid/62740">June 14th</a>&nbsp;and embraces a more empowered position as narrator, singing&nbsp;about the struggle between innocence and experience.&nbsp;This duality is put into perspective against the large stately home in which the video was shot, and brought to life by two dancers representing a Lamb and a Tiger - this, in part, inspired by the great works of William Blake. It's a coming of age tale rich with colour and impeccable styling, and another vibrant performance from Auder.&nbsp;

Only Mr and Mrs Nakamatsu are&nbsp;having a few issues of their own...With his typically&nbsp;off-the-wall premise,&nbsp;Saman Kesh&#39;s video for Basement Jaxx&#39;s Never Say Never somewhat&nbsp;harks back to a couple of&nbsp;classic &#39;white-coat&#39;-themed vids for the Jaxx&nbsp;by Traktor. But Saman puts his own distinctively satirical (and butt-orientated)&nbsp;take on the whole lab scenario with his remarkable invention - The&nbsp;Twerkbot.Featuring sensory stimuli and JAXX-patented buttocks technology &ndash; and every couple is going to want to have one. And now Saman has created a mirror-image video for Placebo&#39;s&nbsp;Loud Like Love. It&#39;s another party, where a sudden destructive incident requires some deep&nbsp;analysis. This time it&#39;s a sexy 1960s pool party; again, Easton Ellis narrates;&nbsp;and again Kesh&nbsp;demonstrates an awesome eye for detail and a brilliant and very stylish execution.&nbsp;
