Bonnie Moir directs&nbsp;a futuristic story about love, loss and memories for Julia Stone.&nbsp;Breaking away from her folk roots into more avant garde soundscapes,&nbsp;the video for Unreal takes a cue from this transition in genre.&nbsp;Reflecting the aftermath of a post-lockdown world, where our confinement has forced us to reexamine relationships and the fundamental need for&nbsp;family, the enigmatic promo explores a relationship between Stone and her husband,&nbsp;played brilliantly by&nbsp;Damon Herriman.&nbsp;Scanning over videos of their best times together, frolicking in the swimming pool, spending hours creating music by the piano, Herriman is trying to recapture these moments of pure bliss. But now Stone is absent and cold, struggling to adapt to her husband's expectations&nbsp;- and it is not difficult to figure out why.&nbsp;&nbsp;With a truly haunting ending, this video is a standout achievement, and though very much high concept, it could also be read as a reflection of the process of dementia.&nbsp;&nbsp;
