Fred Rowson&#39;s video for Years &amp; Years&#39;s track Foundation, from their debut album Communion,&nbsp;follows a&nbsp;funeral procession&nbsp;permeated with death and decay, which starts with the lead singer Olly Alexander&#39;s body lying&nbsp;on a bed of roses.The mood of the piece is decidedly&nbsp;eerie, and it&#39;s only&nbsp;heightened when we realise the cadaver is&nbsp;twitching restlessly, before waking up entirely to stare down at the audience &nbsp;and&nbsp;deliver&nbsp;an&nbsp;impassioned&nbsp;performance.&nbsp;Meanwhile, the hypnotised&nbsp;congregation&nbsp;are attentive only&nbsp;to the unsettling rituals taking place behind him...&nbsp;

Chris Hewitt follows up his experimental animation-based promo for Clark&#39;s&nbsp;<a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2014/11/20/clark-winter-linn-christopher-hewitt" target="_blank">Winter Linn</a>&nbsp;with something very different for the techno&nbsp;stalwart and Warp Records legend&#39;s To Live And Die In Grantham. And it also reconfigures&nbsp;some familiar elements in a refreshing&nbsp;way.&nbsp;With a young man striding purposefully&nbsp;through a windswept&nbsp;trailer park in a English coastal resort, closely tracked by Steve Annis&#39;s camera, it immediately establishes a sense of impending threat. But that early sense of spine-tingling tension transforms&nbsp;into something more.. well, spiritual.&nbsp;With excellent&nbsp;choreography by Holly Blakey, young actor/dancer Lawrence Harp&nbsp;brings the euphoria of the dancefloor to the back end of beyond - Jaywick in Essex, in fact, rather than&nbsp;Grantham. It&#39;s the result of a local shaman blowing smoke into the back of his head, and it&#39;s a sight to behold. Marvellous stuff.&nbsp;

Taking inspiration from the&nbsp;medieval Dance Of Death paintings, Nick Rutter creates a dark and eerie promo for Vaults&#39; Lifespan.Much like&nbsp;&quot;Death from Lübeck&quot; (roughly speaking,&nbsp;the Danish version of &#39;looking like death warmed up&#39;) the video is&nbsp;a series of still life portraits depicting people from different parts of society. Unlike the painting, death does not explicitly show itself, but it&#39;s relationship with life is examined throughout.
