American singer-songwriter Stephen Sanchez, joins&nbsp;forces with Charlie Rees&nbsp;to create a gripping narrative in his latest music video.The promo&nbsp;for Death Of The Troubadour transports viewers into a dramatic, Western-inspired narrative, which mirrors the song's themes of drama and suspense.&nbsp;Taking&nbsp;place in a '50s mobster bar, the video sees&nbsp;Sanchez perform the track in front of an intense crowd, right up until a dramatic bar fight. Short and sweet, the video is tinged with heartbreak and wistfulness, whilst remaining slick and theatrical.[imgtoken data:1]Charlie Rees says DoP Billy Kendall and producer Alex Handschuh made exceptional contributions to the project, and Untold Studios' EP&nbsp;Annie Ayres deserves special thanks for her role in bringing the project to life. He also gives special mention to choreographer and fight coordinator Isky Fay.&nbsp;"I've incorporated quite a lot of dance choreography into my work in the past, but this was the first time that I have ever directed a fight scene,” says Charlie&nbsp;Rees. “Isky, who has&nbsp;worked with everyone from Jason Statham to Johnny Depp,&nbsp;was amazing and really collaborative throughout."We were under a lot of pressure, but we made it happen! I love creating theatrical set pieces and want to do it more throughout my work."

Max McLachlan directs an intriguing&nbsp;video for Naima Bock,&nbsp;exploring the power and importance of support networks.The video for Giant Palm begins in a series of dreary, cold interiors, with several characters mysteriously comatose in a house. As the visual&nbsp;progresses, each of them are slowly lifted and puppeted by dancers, helping them perform a daily activity (e.g. brushing their teeth, putting on a jumper, making their bed, etc.).Inspired by the song,&nbsp;McLachlan also used personal experiences to inform his approach to the subject matter, which is captured in&nbsp;DoP Sam Donvito's classy work on 16mm.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]<blockquote>I think coming out of lockdowns and long days inside, the&nbsp;winter blues have&nbsp;hit a lot of us hard.</blockquote>"Listening to the song, Naima's&nbsp;evocative lyrics made me think about coming to peace with a lack of control in life, floating above everything," says McLaghan "[It]&nbsp;also made me reflect on all the times we needed a little help to pick ourselves back up."I think coming out of years of lockdowns and long days inside, the&nbsp;winter blues have&nbsp;hit a lot of us hard.
