"There's a nostalgic vibe to the tune and we wanted to make something that acknowledged the mid 90s heyday of the pirates, and captured the good time, summer vibes of the track," explain Charles and Joe. "But we also wanted to make sure that we got across a suggestion of the gritty reality of what was a very underground culture at the time. 
"Pirate radio stations in the jungle/garage days were high security, high risk operations, but we didn't want it to get too dark, so our radio station has a naivity and innocence to it, the characters that run it are all young and the legality and repercussions of their actions aren't even a thought. 
"We were spoilt in that we managed to talk everyone into shooting for two days, which was a real luxury, and the crew and the cast were all brilliant in the face of two underpaid, long days. We can't thank everyone enough."

Medieval myth comes to East London in a modern guise as the terrors of the age are represented by a group of faceless hooded youths - the four BMX riders of the Apocalypse. 
They are also accompanied by the real thing too - an awesome Apocalyptic horseman - in this very moody and menacing portrait of inner city life for Magnetic Man and John Legend's Getting Nowhere by Diamond Dogs - a radical change of tone from Phil Sansom and Olly Williams's usual lighthearted style. 
Shot around Docklands, this is grim, forboding, and very impressive indeed - with great photography by Robbie Ryan.

Magnetic Man’s Getting Nowhere feat. John Legend by Diamond Dogs

Robbie is in Wonderland - and so are the Dogs. 
Phil Sansom and Olly Williams aka Diamond Dogs, having spent most of the year working on their new short film, return to promos with a beautifully made, satisfyingly slow burn of comic surrealism for Rob - who makes a utterly charming White Rabbit.
It's proper good stuff - and great to see Phil and Olly at last getting the chance to show what they can do with a decent budget. If only to hear the rigger calling out "Oi Olly, which way do you want your carrot to swing"....
