A naughty schoolboy&nbsp;goes on a sugar-fuelled rampage, in French director and graphic designer&nbsp;So Me's promo for Riton's infectious Sugar - featuring&nbsp;Soaky Siren.&nbsp;The eccentric promo sees the young rascal (played by&nbsp;Ethan Wesley) tear up the town, stealing various sugary treats in a riotous, explosive adventure - much to the dismay of the poor people trying to go about their day.With&nbsp;frantic, in-your-face cinematography, a great supporting cast,&nbsp;some laugh out loud moments - as well as some lively choreography - it's a brilliant video that takes a fun concept and pulls it right to the edge of absurdity... and the track couldn't have asked for a more catchy visual.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1][imgtoken data:2]

Girli is haunted by overwhelming emotions, in&nbsp;Kassandra Powell's promo for Imposter Syndrome.&nbsp;We see Girli in an American-style&nbsp;diner, where every other customer&nbsp;appears to be giving her the evil eye. She hallucinates a surreal barrage of mocking looks and angry stares.&nbsp;Surrounded by a judgemental mob&nbsp;in the restaurant, she breaks out, only to become part of another mob, of angry group protesters.“We wanted to create a combination of aesthetics taking inspiration from Americana &amp; Wes Anderson," says Powell.Casting from Girli's fanbase (Pinkies), the creative team were lucky enough to get a crowd of excited extras to hold placards in the protest scene, which adds a lot of production value to the project.&nbsp;

Anne-Marie finds good reason to suspect that Aitch is up to no good, in Samuel Douek's entertaining video for Psycho.Douek creates a boisterously colourful, almost cartoonish series of environments in which Anne-Marie can wreak havoc upon Aitch's attempts at serial cheating. The director's approach gels nicely with the light-hearted tone of the collaboration between two of the UK's biggest pop stars.And he gets sterling support from the production design by&nbsp;Tilda Bonham Carter, styling by Cora Delaney and Justin Rose, and the casting of Aitch's numerous other girlfriends.[imgtoken data:1]"The idea of the video was to empower anyone who has been in Anne-Marie’s position before," says Douek. Emmanuelle Soffé directs Poppy Ajudha's Playgod, a powerful pro-choice statement prompted by the recent Alabama abortion bill and other pressures on women’s freedom across the globeThe song questions the right of men to lay claim to women’s bodies, and Soffé's video&nbsp;grounds Ajudha’s anger in a series of low-lit scenes, with a chorus of women exploding into movement in time with the song’s ferocious chorus, making a physical expression of women’s grief and rage.Elsewhere, scenes depicting Ajudha in Virgin Mary-esque stylings show the grief that even Mary herself feels for Christian ideologies being warped in the name of ‘God’, while a glitter-laden performance from the singer depicts the sanctity of the female body.[imgtoken data:1]"When I first heard this track, with just a few hours to write a script, it struck me that the most powerful way to approach a video concept for a song like this was through simple and raw expression of emotion," says Soffé. The horror and the grief we feel on behalf of our sisters (and trans/non-binary siblings) on the other side of the planet. The anger, the rage, the frustration, the helplessness. Jasper&nbsp;Cable-Alexander leads us into the world of motorbikes and youth culture, in his raucous promo for Gretel Hänlyn.The aptly-titled Motorbike sees&nbsp;Hänlyn slowly introduced into the biker community, first sat in a roadside café alongside a loved-up pair of older biker-punks (with a passing resemblance to Sid &amp; Nancy), and then joined by a whole gang of bikers circling her performance setup outside.&nbsp;It's a slightly dystopian, offbeat vision, but one that suits the genre-mashing track, and highlights the artist's playful wild&nbsp;side.&nbsp;
