Suede have launched their latest album Autofiction with a short film to feature two of its singles - She Still Leads Me On&nbsp;and 15 Again - written and directed by Katie Lambert.The film is the story of a couple, Hannah and Chris. Hannah is ready to settle down and start a family; Chris far more inclined to retain their independence. Can they reconcile these conflicting impulses?Lambert's short film directing debut is impressive, with engaging performances by&nbsp;by Hannah Higton and Noah Granville, with outstanding cinematography by Adam Barnett.&nbsp;&nbsp;"It's about that moment in a relationship when it’s crunch time," says Lambert. "The moment when you’re at a certain age and forever feels incredibly close. When you’re not sure if you’re with the one, or if you could find another one, or if that’s a crap societal construction anyway."

Harry Law pays homage to classic performance videos in his promo for 5 Seconds Of Summer.&nbsp;Drawing inspiration from pop rock videos of the 90’s and&nbsp;early 00’s&nbsp;- from artists such as Oasis, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and The All-American Rejects -&nbsp;the video for Me, Myself &amp; I takes place in a dimly lit warehouse, with a motion control camera seamlessly cutting around the different personalities of each band member.&nbsp;The video forms a part of the Australian pop outfit's new vision, which is being conceptualised with a number of other creatives across the board, including creative director Tyler Serebreni.[imgtoken data:1]“Me Myself &amp; I&nbsp;has such an iconic energy to it, getting to capture that feeling visually while the band was on a global world tour was so incredible, it gave us so much to play with," says&nbsp;Serebreni.&nbsp;"We wanted to put a twist on a performance video, focusing on technology while keeping the aesthetic and inspiration of so many iconic early 2000s performance videos, but still grounded and in line with our album campaign."Harry [Law] helped us bring this vision to life perfectly, complex in its simplicity, highlighting the individuality and style of the guys."

Lisette Donkersloot's second video for NAO - following the splendid <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2021/08/05/nao-messy-love-lisette-donkersloot/72248" target="_blank">Messy Love</a> - the songstress occupies another near-abstract space that reflects the sentiments of the song.For Wait, a song which is an intimate look at how mistakes grow in a relationship, we see NAO against a blacked-out background on a small floral island. Then&nbsp;her body and others become islands themselves in this space, creating landscapes as they appear in varying sizes&nbsp;and proportions.[imgtoken data:1]“For this video I wanted to&nbsp;create a landscape out of body parts," confirms Donkersloot. "Over the course of the beautifully-sung ballad the camera travels through a water surface, past several tableau of NAO&nbsp;in different scales/proportions mimicking elements of a landscape, where she will star as the mountains, the rocks, landshore and also a human on land surrounded by water.”&nbsp;After a while, the sky turns into a beautifully gradient colour and NAO emerges as all landscapes at once, creating a gorgeous surrealistic dreamscape. Another wonderful example of the director creating a graphic sensibility that is perfectly attuned to the artist and her performance. &nbsp;

Maxim Kelly employs 19th century tech to create a mesmerising, appropriately-shaped video for Django Django's Spirals, the band's first new material since 2018.By recreating the Phénakisticope, a pre-cinematic invention to create 'motion pictures', Kelly has created&nbsp;a series of mandala-like circular patterns, encompassing images of Django lead singer David Maclean, that animate as they spin around. As they do so, they also replicate the spiralling effect that's referenced in the lyrics and also the music.This smart visual idea takes the viewer on a psychedelic experience that also sits perfectly with the band's canon&nbsp;of inventive visuals for their music.The single will be available to stream and download on all the usual digital platforms and also as a 10” vinyl b/w exclusive track The Ark, available from www.djangodjango.co.uk and all independent record shops.
