It&#39;s clear from the start of Markus Schroder&#39;s video for Eliza And The Bear&#39;s Friends&nbsp;that one of this closely-bonded&nbsp;quartet of young people, desperately&nbsp;evading the long arm of the law, is not of this world. And&nbsp;Schroder&nbsp;creates an amalgam of familiar storylines from Eighties&nbsp;movies (which he lists below - and to which you could add&nbsp;John Sayles&#39; less famous&nbsp;The Brother From Another Planet)&nbsp;in a convincing fashion for the Friends video, shot on location in&nbsp;sun-kissed Buenos Aires.

Markus Schroder has created a charming video for&nbsp;London-based indie rock band&nbsp;Eliza and The Bear&#39;s It Gets Cold,&nbsp;in the style of very early cinema, as pioneered by illusionist and filmmaker&nbsp;Georges Méliès.It&nbsp;stages a highly choreographed,&nbsp;theatrical performance&nbsp;set in&nbsp;elaborate and&nbsp;handmade sets,&nbsp;telling the story of a young man at an archery range who commits an accidental killing while distracted by a tricksy devil.This sets off a chain of events where he sets out and&nbsp;ends up making a pact with the devil while his wife&nbsp;is chased by angry&nbsp;mourners while searching for him. The&nbsp;bittersweet&nbsp;conclusion has the unfortunate couple finding each other&nbsp;again... in hell.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

However, our attention is drawn to&nbsp;a young woman inside the maze as she&nbsp;attempts&nbsp;to navigate her way through it,&nbsp;haunted by ghostly figures and&nbsp;faces in the hedges.
