Sam Nutt directs a cinematic promo in aid of charity <a href="https://www.helpmusicians.org.uk/" target="_blank">Help Musicians</a>.The atmospheric promo sees a selection of talented artists perform in the striking Asylum Chapel in Peckham, coming together to highlight the important work that the charity do to help musicians in times of crisis.&nbsp;A collaboration between composer Jan Willem de With, Laura and Sarah Ayoub and Help Musicians UK, the video is breathtakingly executed, and shines a spotlight on the magic behind the music.&nbsp;"HelpMusiciansUK have recently learnt through a survey that 67% of musicians feel that their mental health is worse than it was before the pandemic with more considering leaving the music industry for good, and turning to Music Minds Matter for therapeutic support," the charity explain in&nbsp;the YouTube description.&nbsp;"This film aims to bring attention to the important work Help Musicians does to help musicians across times of crisis, by reflecting the idea of musicians coming together in a sheltered place. Douglas Hart and Steve Mackey - the former Pulp bassist-turned director -&nbsp;direct a grungy promo for Hot Chip's return with Down.&nbsp;The video is a lo-fi&nbsp;affair, blending gritty textures, abstract imagery and distorted layers of oversaturated footage.&nbsp;Paying homage to early music video experimentation, the compelling performances are contrasted against unusual, seemingly unrelated vignettes, which seem more inspired by the industrial beat than any lyrical content. Ben Lankester returns to music videos with an intense and riveting study of a fiercely committed boxer for Big Ideas.The band is the new project by&nbsp;Nathan Nicholson and Adam Harrison - of The Boxer Rebellion -&nbsp;and Lankester himself, on board as creative director and responsible for the visual identity of the project. And the video for the debut release The American Dream is a powerful statement of intent, featuring a charismatic performance by the boxer and actor Tom Benett.With superb cinematography by Carl Burke, Lankester focusses upon&nbsp;the boxer's punishing training regime, his manic drive to be the champion, and the devastating&nbsp;impact it has upon his mental wellbeing.&nbsp;The story is told more as a psychodrama, which puts character and metaphor ahead of typical narrative; and Lankester and Burke draw upon the rich heritage of boxing in film to show a man brought low by his commitment to the American Dream.&nbsp;The end result is a video that punches well above it's weight.[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;
